What I do:

I became a Humanist Celebrant in 2015 when I saw marriage equality on the horizon and was concerned that my conservative location might not exactly be teeming with officiants who supported it. A few days after the US Supreme Court announced its decision in Obergefell v. Hodges, I had the tremendous honor to marry a dear college friend and his long-time partner, in my very first ceremony.

Since then, I’ve officiated over 200 ceremonies, both on my own and as a Top Officiant for Simply Eloped. I can work with you directly and share local recommendations, or you can go through Simply Eloped and outsource all that planning stress!

In my day job, I’m a project manager for a healthcare company. My hobbies include cooking, jogging, and organizing everything except my sock drawer (life is short, y’all, gotta prioritize).

I’m proud to be a 2023 Top Officiant for Simply Eloped!
